Three months ago I almost lost my life on the 405 freeway after crashing into a car at 55mph, which flung me head first into the center divider. The trauma doctor said I had a 10 percent chance of walking out of the hospital without brain swelling. Riding a motorcycle is the most pleasurable moment a person can enjoy, but when you ride into elysium, you best make sure the people you leave behind are taken care of. The BMW R75/5 is wrecked and so is my neck, chest and shoulder, but these can all heal with time.
